Bryan Henson

President

Bryan epitomizes the new generation of builders.

Bryan Henson joined Allen Associates in 2006 bringing extensive experience in construction, project management and environmental systems.  A Ventura native, Bryan returned to the area after working as a general manager for a construction company in northern California.  Prior to that position, Bryan completed his Masters Degree at the Bren School of Environmental Science and Management at UCSB.  Bryan is also a LEED Accredited Professional.

As an Associate, Bryan specialized in both large remodels and new construction with a special emphasis on green projects.  Now Bryan is responsible for setting the direction and overall management of the company.  He also serves as the LEED consultant for our greenest projects – helping to guide clients in the early phases of their projects to make them as green as possible.  In addition to being the primary presenter for Allen Associates’ building seminar series, Bryan teaches green building classes at UC Santa Barbara’s Bren School and Extension Program. In Fall 2008, Bryan was featured on the Discovery Channel’s show, Green that House.  Bryan’s goal is to combine his experience as a builder with his understanding of environmental systems to build beautiful, healthy, and environmentally sensitive homes.

A big part of Bryan’s life is his family – his wife Rachael and their two daughters, Noel and Rosemary, and son, Pierce.
