Lynn hails from the environmental consulting business, where as a geologist she managed large scale clean-ups and construction projects. Lynn made her switch to green building and joined Allen Associates in 2005. Lynn’s highest profile job to date is our own office, which she spearheaded in 2010 when the company purchased the building on the corner of Milpas and Yanonali. This project won the Green Building Commercial Construction Award from the Santa Barbara Contractors Association in 2012. Lynn recently completed a Jesusita fire-rebuild with solar panels and a green roof, and is now running another green commercial remodel in downtown Santa Barbara. Lynn is an eager, efficient and streamlined project manager. Her goal for every project is to help her clients find the joy in construction and to beat her own schedule.
Lynn has attended numerous trainings and seminars keeping her abreast of new and innovative green building practices, and is constantly looking for environmentally conscious alternatives for her clients.
Born in Philadelphia, Lynn has lived in Portland, OR; Dallas, TX; Memphis, TN and has now settled down in Santa Barbara, living here for over 15 years. She received a bachelor’s degree in Geology in 1982 and has extensive experience in both project management and environmental regulations. Lynn’s leisure activities include spending time with her family, hiking and cycling here in Santa Barbara. An avid cyclist, she participated in the California AIDS ride in 2005 – a life-changing experience she says.
