This remodeling project transformed an existing 980 sq. ft. home on a remote parcel in the Santa Ynez Wine Country into an elegant vacation home. |

The architect’s original plans called for a 4,000 sq. ft. expansion of the existing home. Working jointly with the architect and client, we aligned the project with the client’s lifestyle and budget. This reduced the amount of building materials and grading required while decreasing long-term operation and maintenance costs. |

High beam ceilings coupled with an open floor plan creates an open feeling, which capitalizes on the site’s spectacular views. |
Kitchen
Stainless steel counter tops, European style cabinets and plenty of natural lighting give this compact, efficient kitchen an open, bright feeling. Brazilian walnut floors throughout the home were left-over from a larger construction project. |
