This new 4,500 sq. ft. home replaced a worn and outdated house on the property. The owners wanted a traditional Spanish style home, with a pool and cabana. Open beam wood ceilings and wide plank oak floors give a sense of elegance. Large windows provide abundant sunshine and stunning views. Attention to detail and quality materials define this home.
The main goal was to build this project within the owners’ budget. That took creative thinking to accomplish the design, quality, and finishes. Client interaction was key in accomplishing this goal. The secondary goal was to maintain a construction schedule and move-in date due to on going design changes. The clients’ willingness to listen to suggestions and do their homework for design and finishes was a key to the success of the project. (Architect: Bob Easton AIA)
