Custom Home
After losing their original ranch style home to the Jesusita Fire, these owners realized they had been given an opportunity to build their dream home. The entire family had input on the final product – this Tuscan style farmhouse located in Mission Canyon. With a limited budget, the new home is small yet elegant. Marble floors throughout the downstairs, carved cedar corbels and columns from a 200-year-old Pakistan mosque, and a large pizza oven in the dining room are some of its unique features. Green elements include energy efficient windows, a high efficiency furnace, a tight exterior shell and no air conditioning.
