It is said that kitchens are the heart of a home. Not only are meals made there; they are the place where everyone congregates during a party or a family gathering. When you are building a new home, the drawing board is open for you to design the kitchen of your dreams. If you are remodeling, there are important questions to ask.
It is certainly a priority to feel comfortable working in your kitchen while you prepare a meal. Can you move around easily? Do you have enough counterspace? Are your cabinets well placed for easy access and do they hold everything you want them to? It may be even more important for you to feel proud of your kitchen – a place that you can show off to your friends and family. Have your kitchen floors, cabinets and countertops been updated lately or are you still cooking in the same space you were 10 years ago?
