John, a Native Californian, started his building career in Chico, Calif. over 30 years ago. John's clients love his attention to detail and his conscientiousness. Several of his projects have won the "Best New Residential Construction" award from the Santa Barbara Contractors Association . He recently completed an extensive green remodel of a home in the Santa Barbara Mission District and is currently working on a large ranch property in the Santa Ynez Valley. John is a seismic expert and "certified" by the City of Santa Barbara. He has had two articles - "Seismic Support for Old Foundations" and "Tying Down the House" - published in The Journal of Light Construction.

John has a great eye for minute differences, which he had to develop to differentiate between his identical twin boys. His family loves traveling in Mexico. He has a passion for outdoor sports and thrives on his weight training program.
